A downloadable game

A small project that might grow into a full game.

**************************DISCLAIMER**************************

This demo was initially made by only one 13 year old with a very limited Java vocabulary. If you do not like the game, I can understand, but try to remember to take this into consideration  (Leave a review in the Reviews section or in the Discord server (link down below) if you want to (try to be constructive). I'm looking for ways to improve the game, so your feedback would be much appreciated).

Also know that there won't be any sequels, spin-offs, or any other projects done after the full game. This is enough work to go through once, I'd rather not have to go through that same process.

Please know that you have to have Java installed on your computer in order to play on your PC. If you don't already have Java installed, go here: https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

YOUR PROGRESS WILL NOT BE SAVED IF YOU CLOSE OUT OF THE PROGRAM AND REOPEN IT

Install instructions

To play The Path to Power on your PC, download ThePathToPower.zip. If The Path To Power.exe doesn't work (or you do not trust it because I don't know how to become a known publisher), you can use Code.java instead. If you don't have it set already, you'll need to have Code.java opened with Java(TM) Platform SE binary, which you can find at This PC -> OS (C:) -> Program Files -> Java -> jdk-17.0.2 -> bin -> java.exe.

There is also the option to play it in your browser, which you can do by hitting the "Browser play" button in the downloads section (I don't know how to get sound working with the online version, so if you want sound you'll have to get the .zip)
